Blackberry Primitives Retreat Cancellation Policy & Legal
No one likes to think about cancelling a retreat that they are excited to attend and have paid for. I understand life happens and we will do our best to work with you. The following outlines our cancellation policy.
PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
Your initial deposit to hold your place at the retreat is NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON.
A payment schedule will be provided, and additional payments can be made
accordingly.
Final balance is due 90 days prior to retreat start date, unless otherwise noted. A $15 late fee will be assessed on all late payments.
Refund Schedule:
– Cancellations between 90 and 60 days prior to the retreat start date: 50% refund of total amount (less deposit).
– Cancellations within 45 days of the retreat start date: No refunds — no exceptions.
All refunds allowed will incur a 10% processing fee. Refund exceptions cannot be made for any reason, personal or otherwise. No credits can be given for not completing any portion of the retreat.
FORCE MAJEURE (UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES)
Blackberry Primitives reserves the right to cancel or make changes to any retreat due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, acts of war or terrorism, government restrictions, airline cancellations, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, refunds or credits will be handled at our sole discretion based on recoverable costs. Blackberry Primitives is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred as a result of such events.
ITINERARY CHANGES
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the retreat itinerary,
accommodations, or activities when necessary. Any changes will be made with the intent to preserve the quality and integrity of the retreat experience.
PROPERTY DAMAGE AND BREAKAGES
Blackberry Primitives is not responsible for any breakages, damages, or spillages occurring at the chosen venues, to the extent caused by the default and/or negligence of the guest. Any such breakages, damages, or spillages will be charged directly to the adult(s) responsible. Please note that, to date, no charges have ever been made for breakages or damages.
PARTICIPANT CONDUCT
Blackberry Primitives reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any guest whose behavior disrupts the retreat, is disrespectful to others, or poses a safety concern. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
DIETARY NEEDS
Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking. We will make every effort to communicate these needs to our venues and hosts, but we cannot guarantee that all dietary requests can be accommodated.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Unless otherwise requested in writing, you acknowledge and agree that photos taken by the host or other guests during the retreat may be shared publicly, including online and through social media.
LIABILITY WAIVER
By registering, you acknowledge that participation in this retreat and its activities is voluntary and involves inherent risks. You agree to assume all risk and release Blackberry Primitives and associated vendors from any liability, including unforeseen negligence.
GOVERNING LAW
This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Lancaster County, Nebraska.
